We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run business in Royston, known for its strong customer relationships and friendly, team-focused culture. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join as a Trainee Salesperson, learning the full sales process from the ground up.
This isn’t just a desk-based telesales role — you’ll gain real-world experience out in the field, learning directly from experienced professionals.
The Role:
- Learning and developing core sales skills within a supportive team
- Initially supporting sales activity, including customer outreach and follow-ups
- Accompanying two senior salespeople on client appointments to gain hands-on experience
- Building relationships with new and existing customers
- Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products/services
- Progressing to booking and attending your own appointments as your confidence grows
- Gaining experience in quoting, negotiation, and closing sales
- Maintaining accurate records and customer communication
