Overview
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing and engineering company for an experienced TIG Welder to join their growing workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role within a supportive and professional working environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this hands-on role, responsibilities will include:
Carrying out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
Fabricating and assembling metal components to precise standards
Inspecting welded surfaces and structures to ensure quality and accuracy
Operating welding equipment and workshop machinery safely and efficiently
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Working independently and as part of a skilled fabrication team
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Previous experience as a TIG Welder within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Experience welding stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable and hardworking attitude
Good understanding of workplace health & safety
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
