Sous Chef
We’re looking for an experienced Sous Chef on behalf of our lovely client, a well-established Events Catering company based in Wembley. They’re seeking a talented and reliable individual to join their busy team of friendly professionals. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organised, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for producing high-quality food and supporting smooth kitchen operations.
Duties:
- Support the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to a high standard
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures are followed
- Assist in menu planning and event-specific food production
- Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination
- Lead and motivate kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and teamwork
- Ensure smooth service during busy event periods

Requirements:
- Must have a full UK driving licence
- Proven Sous Chef or Senior Chef experience within catering or events
- Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
- Comfortable with early starts and flexible working hours
- Proactive, dependable, and switched-on attitude
