We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Audio-Visual Technician to join a well-established live events and technical production company based in Litlington, North Hertfordshire.

The Role
You will play a key role within the technical team, responsible for delivering, supporting, and maintaining high-quality AV systems across a wide range of live events and productions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading on-site technical delivery for events of all sizes
- Client liaison and acting as a key onsite technical contact
- Supporting rehearsals, setup, show operation, and de-rig
- Working with project managers to plan and deliver technical requirements
- Preparing, testing, and checking AV equipment before deployment
- Supporting equipment delivery, collection, and dry hire operations
- Managing and maintaining accurate stock control systems
- Reporting equipment damage or missing items
- Supporting warehouse and technical teams where required
- Maintaining high technical standards when working with freelance crew
- Basic servicing and maintenance of AV equipment
- Supporting fast turnaround events, including evenings and weekends when required
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- 3–5+ years’ experience in live events / AV production
- Strong understanding of AV systems (sound, lighting, video, IT)
- Hands-on technical ability with equipment and connectivity
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- A proactive, positive “can do” attitude
- Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally internationally
- Full UK driving licence
