Pump & Mechanical Service Engineer
Harlow £35,000–£45,000 + Overtime + Company Van | Full-time, Permanent
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected engineering business with over 100 years of industry experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Engineer to join a stable and growing company offering long-term development and varied work.
The Role:

Service, maintenance, and repair of pumps and rotating mechanical equipment

Working on pumps, motors, fans, and associated systems

Carrying out bearing and mechanical seal changes, as well as unit replacements
-
Servicing pumping stations (including sewage systems)
-
Fault finding and working with electrical panels, controls, and inverters

Attending client sites and liaising directly with customer representatives
-
Working within a local patch (up to 50 miles)
What We’re Looking For:

Strong experience with pumps, motors, and mechanical equipment

Knowledge of electrical systems, panels, and controls
-
Experience in pump and motor overhaul (minimum 5 years)

Ability to work independently on-site

Full UK driving licence
-
Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces (training provided)
What’s on Offer:

£35,000–£45,000 per year (depending on experience)
