Propeller Technician – Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Biggleswade
We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a motivated Propeller Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical skills to start or grow a career in the aviation industry, gaining hands-on experience and technical competence.
Role Overview:
The role involves disassembling and cleaning propellers and associated components for inspection, following approved technical data and completing associated paperwork. Full on-the-job training will be provided, so aviation experience is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Disassemble and clean aircraft propellers and related components using standard and specialist hand tools and measuring equipment.

Carry out Plastic Media (PMB) and glass blasting.

Process aluminium blade grinding.

Work effectively within a small team and independently with minimal supervision.

Take responsibility for your work and maintain high standards.

Perform other reasonable tasks as required by management.

Develop technical competence and grow within the aviation sector.
Person Specification:

Experience with hand tools in engineering, automotive, or similar industries is advantageous.

Mechanical hobbies involving disassembly are considered transferable skills.

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.

Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Punctual and dependable.

Reasonable level of physical fitness.
