We are seeking a Mazak Operator to join the production team, manufacturing precision-engineered components to customer specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating Mazak machinery, ensuring components meet quality standards and production requirements.
What you’ll be doing
- Set up and operate Mazak CNC lathes
- Accurately interpret production documentation, technical instructions and standard operating procedures
- Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment and gauges
- Ensure components are produced accurately to required specifications
- Maintain high housekeeping standards, following 5S principles
- Follow all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, including the correct use of PPE
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets and quality standards
- Complete relevant training and undertake other reasonable duties as required
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience operating Mazak machinery
- Experience within a machining, CNC or manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work accurately to specifications
