If you are an experienced Inspector looking to work for a well established family-run business with a great client base including leading engineering firms across the UK, then look no further! Our client, based in Royston is looking for a skilled individual with a strong attention to detail to join their busy and growing team.
What you’ll be doing
- Inspect machined components for dimensional accuracy and finish
- Verify parts and assemblies against engineering drawings, models, and specifications
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation
- Identify and report nonconforming parts and assist in root cause analysis
- Work closely with machinists to resolve quality issues
- Ensure prototypes meet internal standards and customer requirements before delivery
- Help maintain calibration of inspection equipment
- Support continuous improvement and uphold workshop cleanliness and safety
What you’ll need
- Proven Inspecting experience
- Opportunity to be trained in setting and operating of CNC milling machines
