We’re working with a global, project-led brand experience agency to recruit a hands-on Finance Manager to support their European business.
This role sits close to the day-to-day operations of the business, working alongside project delivery and marketing teams to ensure accurate financial control across live projects. This is not a purely technical or qualification-led role — practical, hands-on experience is key.
The Role
You’ll play an important role in supporting project teams from a financial perspective, ensuring accurate payroll, VAT compliance and reliable project profit reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on finance support to project and marketing teams

Review project budgets, costs and monthly profit recognition

Ensure accurate project revenue and margin reporting

Manage UK payroll and related reporting

Handle UK & EC VAT, working with a wide pool of European vendors and clients

Support supplier payments, cashflow and credit control

Assist with month-end close and financial reporting

Liaise with external accountants, payroll providers and banks
About You

Strong hands-on finance experience within an agency or project-based business

Good working knowledge of UK payroll

Solid understanding of UK & EC VAT

Experience reviewing project profitability and revenue recognition

Comfortable working closely with non-finance teams
