Accounts Administrator – Flexible, Part-Time Role

We’re recruiting on behalf of a lovely, well-established family-run business specialising in planning applications and environmental surveys for architects. Based in a home office in Ashwell, this is a unique opportunity to join a small, close-knit team in a laid-back setting.
You’ll be working directly with the business owner and supporting a small team, making this a varied role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of their work.
The Role:
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing and purchase ledger
- Chasing outstanding payments and maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting general office administration and keeping systems organised
- Handling emails and ad hoc admin duties as required
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the business
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounts administration
- Confident using Xero, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A reliable, proactive and friendly approach
